From the Principal's Desk

Dear all, Greetings for the academic year 2023-24!

          First of all I would like to pay homage to the Founder President of The Trust of the Society of St. Basil, our Guide and Guru Late Lamented Bishop Thomas Mar Athanasios. Even though he is not physically present with us, we move on to follow his principles and ideals and will try our level best to fulfil his vision. I am happy to announce that we are starting the Nursery classes from this academic session. 

“Education is not preparation of life; education is life itself.” -John Dewey We affirm that education begins at birth and continues through life. Our complete focus is to provide a support center to our children, so they continue learning and developing towards becoming whole and healthy individuals.

          The foundation laid here prepares children to face all future challenges. I am convinced that our students will shape the destiny of the nation in times to come. One of our constant and continuous endeavours is to create a healthy, conducive atmosphere for the all-around development of our pupils. Moral values are also intricately woven in the modern curriculum fabric which helps them to grow and develop into sensitive and responsible citizens of the future. The school atmosphere evokes a team spirit amongst the students and teachers with a conviction that ‘We can do it’.

          I sincerely advise parents to spend quality time with their children and try to create a sense of responsibility in each one and encourage them regularly. Always try to be a mentor and friend to your child. Your involvement will show that you value their education.

         I am happy to inform that “The Trust of The Society of St. Basil” is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year. The Trust was established in 1973 by the vision and effort of our Founder President to provide good education to children of Gujarat in rural areas.
